Communique 2 February 14, 2026

Thank you all for participating in the Los Angeles Regional Tournament today at Antelope Valley College, and congratulations again to all of the students who competed! Thank you especially to coaches, teachers, parents, and everyone in between for your unwavering support of our students -- without you, this tournament would not have been possible.

The Preliminary Scores for Division B and Division C are now posted on Duosmium.

As a reminder, the top 4 schools in each division on the finalized scoreboard will receive a bid to the SoCal State Tournament held at Caltech in April.

Head coaches will have until Monday, Feb 16, 5:00 PM to submit any score inquiry by emailing stanleysuen@socalscioly.org. As a reminder, this must be submitted by the head coach and is only meant for clerical issues on the scoreboard (e.g. your team received a no-show when your team was there). Asking if the team should have gotten a better ranking is not a valid score inquiry.

Team Registration for Division B and C for the 2025-26 season is now open. The rules for Division B and C are available for free on the National Science Olympiad web page.

There is no limit on the number of teams per school. Each team from a school participating in an Invitational or Regional Tournament must be registered with the state. All teams are expected to compete at the Regional Tournament.
