[Urgent] Parent Volunteer Assignments
Each team (not school) must provide an adult volunteer who will help assist our Event Supervisors for about two hours total. (The volunteer cannot be a competitor on the team and must be an adult, usually a parent or coach). The assignments are posted in the downloads section below. These adult volunteers will not require knowledge of the events and will be helping with tasks like timing, letting teams in, etc.. Please don't hesitate to let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

For all volunteers, make sure they complete the volunteer training program required by National Science Olympiad before tournament day.

Early Arrivals
Rio Hondo College will be open for teams starting at 6:30 AM. If your team arrives before that time, campus security will not let you in until 6:30 AM.

Team Check-in
Check-in will open at 7:15 AM and will be located below the breezeway between the S and A buildings on the A building side. Team rosters and release forms will be collected. Impound will also open at 7:15 AM, and devices will need to be impounded at their event locations by a competing student. Participants will not need wristbands to impound. It is National Science Olympiad's policy that only members of the 15 official member team can impound.

Parking
Parking is available ONLY in lots A, C, E, J, L and in the Terrace Parking Lots 1-6. Parking will be free and no parking passes are required.

Home Base
Our host has requested us to alert you to not place stakes for tents into the grass, especially in the lower quad area. Please instead weigh your tents down so that they do not blow away. If you decide to set up on the grass, please also take extra care to clean up after yourselves. Please help us make sure your team does not stake the grass so that we can continue to come back to Rio Hondo College in future years.

Schedule and Room Assignments
Room assignments for events for both divisions are now posted in the V1 schedule in the downloads section below.

Minor Procedural Issues Contact number
On the day of the event, if there are quick procedural issues, Head Coaches can call (626) 277-9848. Please make this option a useful one and only use this number judiciously to make sure it helps facilitate the process and not negatively impact it. Quick procedural issues include: Event Supervisor is missing for an event; Event Supervisor is checking for student ID to let them in, Event Supervisors not allowing certain items that should be allowed, etc. In general, call this number to get something fixed quickly (not to appeal). Resolving procedural issues is not meant to replace the appeal process that's currently in place.

Awards Ceremony
The Awards Ceremony for both Divisions will take place in the Gym starting at 5:30 PM.

Preliminary Scoreboard
