The club Science Based Academic Tournaments at USC (or SciBAT or SciBATSC), is the Science Olympiad Alumni group found at USC. Our club invites anyone interested in planning and running exciting science tournaments to help give back to the local Southern California community. We aim to continuously strengthen the science tournament scene hosting tournament at USC, starting with the BirdSO Invitational in 2024, and by supporting local tournaments including the Los Angeles Regional and State Tournaments.

This year, we are excited to continue to partner with SoCal Science Olympiad to host the USC Invitational, the flagship Invitational Tournament for Southern California Science Olympiad. We're anticipate this tournament to continue to be the largest in-person competition in the nation for high school and middle school. Stay tuned for more information and we look forward to seeing everyone on January 18, 2025!
