The club Science Based Academic Tournaments at USC (or SciBAT or SciBATUSC), is the Science Olympiad Alumni group found at USC. Our club invites anyone interested in planning and running exciting science tournaments to help give back to the local Southern California community. We aim to continuously strengthen the science tournament scene by supporting local tournaments including the Los Angeles Regional and State Tournaments, and eventually by hosting tournaments at USC as well.

This year, our club is planning to host the BirdSO Science Olympiad Tournament sometime in January or February. This tournament will include middle and high school teams from all around Southern California competing in, historically, one of the most competitive tournaments in the US.
